A Love Letter to Winter, North Face’s 2018 Snow Team Edit, is stunning. It’s really refreshing to see people doing amazing things, absolutely extreme and pushing the boundaries of what is extreme even further, but set to mellow music. This helps you appreciate the beauty of the lines taken, the natural flow of the movement from somebody doing what they love, and what they spend all their time refining.
It’s a powerful short ski film that stands out from the pack. Thanks, North Face, and of course thanks Pixies for providing the musical inspiration for a new way of visually appreciating extreme sport.
I hope it’s a trend.
