ICELAND DIVIDE – Bikepacking Expedition
Cruel, heartbreaking, exhausting and so rewarding it’s addictive…Bikepacking.
This is a great self-filmed video from Montanus of their Iceland traverse. Be careful, it might just inspire you to get out and punish yourself with an epic bikepacking trip. I know it’s got me planning one for as soon as possible.
Iceland Divide is a short film that chronicles a self-supported bikepacking expedition from north to south of Iceland, through one of the most extreme environments on the planet, following the only visible stretch of the longest mountain range on Earth, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Lava ash, the boundless glaciers and the otherworldly landscapes accompany the Italian duo into a world of immeasurable desolation and enthralling beauty.
